Well there was snow, and there was snow and then there was some more snow!! ahhhh
Most people get all excited and happy when they see snow I on the other hand get depressed!! : ) The reason for this is because my better half is a snow removal guy, his family owns a medium scale snow removal business and snow around here is called " white gold". I used to love snow, now I hate it....cause it means Nick works long endless hours.....and it means I pray for a Green Christmas. Lots of people dont' relize what snowing on Christmas means. Well I am going to tell you in my little snow hating RANT....snow means working long hours, missing out on Christmas fun with family and friends. The average snow storm takes days to clean up, as well it takes days a head to prep for a storm, getting tractors ready, salt trucks loaded, things oiled etc. For example the storm we just got this week won't be cleaned up for several more days. There is plowing, salting, shovelling and hauling away of snow from cramped locations. Its a lot of work, and I just don't think people understand what it means. There are always people who complain and whine if there driveways are not immediately plowed and I just think they need to realize the long hours our snow removal operators work. So be kind next time your plow boy takes a little longer then usual to plow your driveway !!! :) That's my rant for the day....thanks for reading!! hahaha

okay so here's MY rant...my snow removal guy went by AFTER we had just shoveled our whole driveway and left a huge pile of snow at the end of it. Ugh! So this is what you need to ask Nick. If said homeowner would have flashed said plow guy would he have raised his big shovel and not left huge snow hill at the bottom of my driveway? I'm willing to try it on the next snow dump!!! lol!
Its so true, Stephanie, we don't think about those poor plow guys as people with families and who are missing meals and storytimes, etc with there kids. I am hoping for a white Xmas, just not a storming Xmas. Maybe it could gratually snow, like every day just an inch, for about 6 days before Xmas... so that its all done and cleaned up by Xmas Eve and Day!!! hows that?
oh yea, and missing meals and storytime with their wives and dogs too... forgot that part!
