Doggie Spa......anyone???

So if you know me well enough, you know I love my doggies.....and Cosmo is my baby. He was my first official doggie as an adult. ( the first fur kid for Nick and I) And we love him to pieces!!
Tonight Cosmo being a spoiled dog got to go to the Spa for three hours. He got his nails trimmed, his hair cut, washed and blown dry, and his ears cleaned. WOW, who knew he could look and feel soooo nice!!! he also smells amazing!! I wish I had smellovision on this comp so you could smell him, he smells like he just left an expensive salon! ( oh wait he did!!) HAHA
The lady at the pet spa told me next time I should get him in every four months cause apparently he was DIRTY!! Quelle Surprise.....

I figure he will be clean until about tomorrow at 7 am when he wants to go out and lay on the pavement in the rain!! Oh the dogs life!!!

FOR SALE 1 FREEZER, 1 FIANCE, AND 1 FAMILY IN LAW

So we should be on record for the most boring weekend EVER!!
However, our weekend got a bit more dramatic today. Nick's dad called and then the yelling began. Apparently Nick's sister is moving YET AGAIN....and guess who got to buy her freezer.....LUCKY US.
Apparently by some freak of nature everyone thought we needed yet another freezer, ( which, we don't) and they somehow got us to pay for it too!!?? How did this happen....seriously....??
So by the end of the day today, we ended up taking 150$ out of our Montreal trip slush cup. And we got a new f reezer. can you tell I am confused about this ???? So now we have a freezer that is just sitting in our basement, and WE PAID FOR IT???
When the freezer drop off toook place there was lots of tension and lots of nasty words were exhanged by a typically very religious family!!! However, most of hte nasty words were between Nick and his sister.
So now I have a new freezer, 150$ less, and I am laughing my head off, cause what else is there to do??? And when asked by my bestest friend Amy why did you guys buy it, i have no answer.
To keep the peace I guess is the only answer. Who knows.....but now as I read this blog entry...it's actually quite hilarious and something bizarre like this always happens to spend our money!!

Going Shack Wacky

Well this week has been a long one. I have only worked two days, and to say the least that makes me go a little crazy. I am definitely the type of person who likes to go to work and have weekends off. So I started off the week with Monday off, as it was shelley's day in the classsroom! Which was fine I welcomed the day off the weekend was crazy busy with SHOPPING!! But more about that later.
So then I was with my class Tuesday and Wednesday, which was perfect. I had lunch with the girls and all was well in the world.

Then I had Thursday off and did lots of work around the house, cleaned the car ( cause I hate when it's DIRTY) hung out with my fur kids, caught up on all my talk shows etc.
But then Friday came and as I sit here and watch yet another episode of Regis and Kelly, i discover that I am GOING CRAZY!!!! So now I have to figure out what to do for the day or could be at risk of going off the deep end......
Cosmo my beauitful doggie is sitting here looking at me, and I believe the look he is giving me is the " take me for a walk look" so that's always an option.
Also the office that I have is very messy and Nick has been telling me to clean it for a loooonnnggg time, and I keep piling things in there and avoiding it. It's really bad. It's not dirty....but really messy!!! But I keep avoiding the room....there always seems to be something better to do!!! Even sitting on the couch absorbed in Facebook seems like a better option!!!

Back to the shopping.....Saturday my friend Angela and I went Hali for a little R&R.....( Retail Relaxation) It was fabulous i had a budget for soem new clothes!! I can only rotate my black and grey pants around for so long before people begin to wonder!! Seriously my clothes are PATHETIC!! But being a poor subsitute with 500$ a month in student loans doesn't leave a lot of room for my clothing addiction!!! How is it that when I was in university I had WAYY more money and didn't work hardly at all, and now i work and I am POOR??? Oh wait....I know why...I was rich then because of student loans and I am poor now because of student loans...wow life really does come full circle.....
Anyway, I got some fun new clothes.....I now have 5 pairs of capris, some cute new sweaters and a few new shirts! I still need some more clothes but thsoe will come later!
I also got poor Nick...some new golf clothes!! The poor boys butt was at risk of falling out of the back of his golf shorts!! Seriously...the shorts were almost see through!!! So we are all spiffed up and lookin good!!!
So now not only will he be on the course all the time...he will also be lookin FINE!!!
yes...it's golf time again, and with golf season means Nick disappears....and i become a golf widow!! But that's okay, i am hoping to start to bring out the clubs again this year!!!
Well that's all for now. You would think with my slow week this week that I could find more timeto post.....but I am a procrastinator!!

Crazies on the 101

Seriously, I take my life into my hands every morning and evening when I drive home from school. Seriously...who lets these people get their license...??

I had a seriously big hate on for the green truck that proceeded to annoy me the entire way home tonight. I drove behind this EVIL green truck from Berwick, and they drove about 80 km.......an hour...then when I got to coldbrook I was like ok this guy is going to eat my dust!!! And I passsed evil green truck...at which point they proceeded to passed me...what is with people, they drive sooo slow then get to a passing lane and speed UP???? then get to a single lane and slow down and proceed to torture me.....?? Seriously people learn to drive....just go 110 km......and if you want to drive slower don't go slower then 100....IT"S THE HIGHWAY!!

I am a card making GODDESS!!

Well I just started blogging and already I have become a slacker!!! My mother promptly informed me today that I hadn't posted since i started the blog and that I had better get it done!! so here goes mom!!! :)

I had a pretty crazy week and feel as though I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off and still didnt' get a thing done.

The highlight of my week was the party last night at Chantal's!! However, Pam, Lynn, Sarah and I were late. which I whole heartedly blame on pam and Lynn!!!
So we all socialized, ate and made cards. Seriously...the cards were beauitful. I am in love with mine, so much so that they are sitting on the mantle of my fireplace. ( i am pretending someone sent them to me!!) ha, ha
I mean I am not artistic....but even mine turned out nice!! I might even have to get into the card making...I find it really relaxing and FUN!! I can see myself becoming a card making addict in the near future....look out Too Much fun...I think I will be a customer soon!!!

Today was a pretty good day, I got to work an extra day with my class which I was soo excited about......and I dont have to plan tonight which is exciting....and also it's a Grey's Anatomy NIGHT!! Yipppeeee

The beginning of a new addiction...blogging....un oh!!

Well I have finally jumped on the blog wagon...it seems like Everyone is doing it....
Although, I am not exactly the most eloquent writer....I am going to give it a try! here goes!!

I am already a facebook addict, and I think that a day is not a day with out a facebook adventure! I am speaking with people I haven`t talked to in years, some of those i am super exicted to talk to, and others I just wish wouldn`t have added me in the first place!!!Facebook is a form of voyerism that I actively participate in...NICK HATES IT!! haha he constantly says its terrible that I am checking out everyone on facebook!! haha oh well.......
This is my fist blog...and is very limited in excitment.....I promise that it will get better with time...and that someday i will have the flare of Donna and Chantal......they have very entertaining blogs!!!!
