Well after getting NO comments on my last blog, and feeling rather sad...that everytime i opened to look at my blog.....it said NO COMMENTS.
I have finally given up my strike and decided to write another entry. I should title it....WHERE"S my peeps. But i think I may have worn out the PEEPS!!
Anyway, I have been running, I am trying to do a 10 km training plan, and so far I have been ramping up to 6 km.
And I was super proud of myself and my beauitful Chien Cosmo because tonight we almost totally did the 5 km without stopping. There was one hill that beat me up and forced me to walk! But other then that I made EXCELLENT progress yah ME!!! and Cosmo!!
I probably looked like a crazy woman running through downtown New minas SINGING I'm BRING SEXY BACK>>>>>OH I"M BRINGIN SEXY BACK.....but WHO cares....I had my groove on.... This girl is becomin a RUNNER....and hopfully shrinking the BUTTOX in the process!!

I got me some CRANKY PEEPS!!!
well this blog thing is starting to stress me out. I just can't keep up with the Jones, or the Donna's or the Chantal's!! haha : )
Well tonight I debuted the run/Walk. Yes I know....I am trying to start running again, and it's a slow and painful process!!
Yes I was technically supposed to start running one month ago, but well I came up with many excuses!
1. I definitely felt that I needed an IPOD to run
2. I definitely neeeded new sneakers to run.
3. I definitely needed a new watch to record my time inorder to run.
yes i know....all of these seem like excellent reasons to procrastinate on starting the running.
I used to run, and I hated it then or atleast I hated it when I first started it. Running is a daunting thing, it's one of the best exercises you can do, it's also one of the hardest to start, but feels soooo good once you can get into it. Such a double edged sword. I also like that running is CHEAP. Well minus the IPOD, Sneakers and watch...: ) but still it's cheap cause I have no ipod. Apparently I am poor and can't afford one! hahaha And since the poor summer is looming ahead, I guess the ipod is not the best investment in my money! Sadly student loans take priority!!
Tonight I ran/walked for the first time. Since my gym burnt down last week, I guess I gotta find somethign to do for exercise. I had some blood tests last week and apparently I might have soem issues, so the doctor needs me to get healthy aka lose WEIGHT! I took blood tests friday (what a joy that was more about that later) I got blood taken because apparently a person who is 27 shouldnt be quite as tired as I have been lately. So the doctor is running some routine blood work to tell me if there is something wrong with my thyroid, or if i have diabetes ( which is a possibilty since it's in my family! and Dad has thyroid problems) Who knows. I would love to know if there is a problem so i can fix it!! : ) But I am hoping I am just burnt out teacher!! Ready for summer vacation, and that everything is Perfect!!! : )
Back to the blood test.
So Friday I was planning on attending the insevice at school, however I had to get the darn blood work done before hand. So I went to the Valley regional and figured this was a quick procedure but it really was NOT...it took FOREVER. And I am scared of blood. It makes me WOOZY. So I said to the NOT so nice nurse when I went in "is this going to hurt" and she said, well i am not gonna lie. It's gonna HURT. I wanted to yell...couldn't you JUST LIE???? The lie would have been better!!!!! Anyway, it did hurt...and then I made the mistake of looking at my viles of blood...whcih made my knees weak! ahhhh my arm still hurts just thinking about it! ( YES I AM A WIMPO)
Well my dogs are barking UP a storm....not sure why....they are on HIGH alert...so this is all for now.

I got SOME PEEPS!! YO PEEPS
Apparently, I have some Peeps who like to read my blog...who would have thunk it....I AM A STAR??!! : )
Well I got told by Chantal that she was sick of seeing my last blog title, and that I had better get BLOGGING......and then JILL TOLD ME TODAY....that she was going to.......inflict bodily harm on me....unless I changed it up....so here I am under duress writing this blog entry!! HAHAHAHA
So last night as I was cleaning up, I noticed that my rubber boots were in the porch and taking up space. So I picked them up...opened the basement door (aka Nick's cleaning area) and tossed them down into the basement.....as I let them fly out of my hand....I noticed large amounts of water all over the place. Well I was like ahhh F*&%, etc etc etc......and I probably could have written a profanity dictionary.
As I was using my alternative vocabulary, Nick of course was in the shower......and screaming...STEPH WHAT IS IT...STEPH STEPH..... I however was not responding to him as I was having a FIT....screaming....etc.
So then upon getting on my crocks and proceeding down into my basement I discovered that there were large amounts of water SHOOTING....out of my hotwater heater. I am not a plumber, or a plumber apprentice...but I gathered that this was not good.
Next Nick jumps out of the shower and runs...with a towel downstairs ( it was too small of a towel) and checks it out. And my worst fears were realized WE NEED A NEW HOT WATER HEATER. FRICK.
So Nick who is a burner mechanic ( aka furnace/ heating/ hotwater heater installer GUY) can fix this. But he cannot fix it tonight, which means no shower for me tomorrow....( DOUBLE FRICK)
So I got up this morning....and the hair was looking terrible......and there was no shower in SIGHT..... Triple FRICK.
So tonight Nick and i will have the pleasure of installing a HOT water heater together....EXCELLENT....if this doesn't send us to divorce court I don't know what will.

Beauty Queen?? OR Maybe just a princess?
So this was a pretty good weekend. My mom and I went to Hali for a girls day, and did a LITTLE shopping, and then went to the Bay to look at shoes! Once we entered the Bay they had a big Garden Party Event! And there was free waxing, makeup application etc! I was like...well I feel like crap lets get a makeover!!!
So my mom and I got our makeup applied. ( I never wear makeup) And it was great FUN!! The lady who did the makeup was absolutely beauitful, so I thought she might be able to help me out!! : ) When I decided I wanted to get my makeup done, I looked for the prettiest girl with the best makeup, hoping she would be able to help me!! Well she was amazing, she introduced me to Clarin's products which are from France. WOW they are fabulous; I have never been able to find a foundation that doesnt' look pastey and chalkie on my face, but this one is excellent, it makes you look better, but yet you can't see it!!
She did up my eyes, with this awesome eye shadow, and WOW...I was impressed. I actually looked like a girl!!
Most days, I get up shower, put the hair up in a pony tail and go. Well I guess once in a while i need to dress things up. Mom says I need to not be quite so CONSERVATIVE....so I guess I need to work on that ASAP.
Other then my makeup event, it was pretty uneventful, well minus the ugly paint colour I choose for my livingroom. Of course I didn't realize I hated it until I painted an entire wall.( wait, until I made Nick paint an entire wall) then I told him I hated it, and so we have 3 walls white, and one a light beigeish colour......it's a Purdy livingroom!! : (
Oh well better luck next time, I need to try not to be quite so indecisive!! But the livingroom will get painted sooner...rather then later I HOPE!!!
